Dr. Tina Nikoukhah

Tina is the Director of Research at GetReal Labs, leading a team of research scientists dedicated to developing cutting-edge forensic analysis tools. Before joining GetReal, Tina was an academic researcher at Centre Borelli, ENS Paris-Saclay, where she worked on media forensics and image processing, with a particular focus on detecting localized manipulations in compressed images. Committed to knowledge sharing, she also teaches classes for journalists at ESJ Lille. With a Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics from Université Paris-Saclay and a background in computer science engineering, Tina combines deep technical expertise with a strong understanding of user needs to translate complex research into practical solutions. She was recognized with the L’Oréal-Unesco French Young Talent award in 2022. Her Ph.D. thesis received an award from a CNRS cybersecurity community in 2023, along with the Gilles Kahn prize the same year.
